Update: Work underway on second borehole in Barpello

Just a brief update to let you know that work has started on Bóthar’s second borehole in Barpello, East Pokot. Fr. Conway is over-seeing the project on our behalf and is reporting regularly on the progress. After the huge success of the original borehole, the completion of this project is estimated to be much quicker. Here are some images of the initial drilling that started at the end of July. I will keep you updated once the project is completed. To everyone who helped to fund the borehole, thank you. The response to this particular appeal has been overwhelming. It is such an important commodity and one that we cannot live without. Thank you for your support.
