Remember Your Loved Ones on All Souls Day
It is coming up to November, the month of the Holy Souls and every year Bóthar helps to remember loved ones who have passed away by remembering them at a special mass held in St. John’s Cathedral on All Souls Day, November 2nd.
We will be doing so again this year.
Unfortunately, as we all have experience of, with life comes death. Precious people are lost to us and we want to find ways to honour their memory. To keep them with us as we continue our journey through life.
To remember them...
Because the world is not the same without them in it.
The love you have for them gathers up in the corners of your eyes or the lump in your throat. It gets you. Somedays when you least expect it.
That is the power of love.
This All Souls Day, we are transforming that love into practical help and support. Life-changing help for families who are struggling in the developing world. Nearly all of these families were directly impacted by the horrors of the Rwandan Genocide, 25 years ago.
Countless men, women and children were killed.
Mothers, fathers, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews.
All of whom died in the most horrific of circumstances.
Those who were left behind had to try and rebuild their lives.
Some are still trying.
We currently have families who are in the middle of the Bóthar training programme and they are just waiting to find out when they will receive their Irish dairy cow.
This cow will CHANGE THEIR LIVES. It really will.
This is where you can honour the memory of your loved one to help a family who are in dire need of it.
Alternatively, you can call a member of the Bóthar team on 1850 82 99 99.
Wishing you good health and happiness.
