The team and Board of Bóthar were deeply saddened to hear of the recent passing of stalwart Bóthar supporter, Fr Felix Byrne. We wish to express our condolences to his loved ones and esteemed community of Monaseed, Co Wexford.
Fr Byrne was a pivotal driving force behind his local Bóthar support group since it's inception, and had been working with our team up to this year. To Fr Felix and his group we are forever grateful. As we prepare to ship 60 in-calf heifers to Kosovo this autumn we reflect upon his significant efforts over the years. This is mirrored in the work all of our support groups across the country, who have collaborated tirelessly to support farmers in the developing world on their journey to sustainable futures. Without all of you our work would not be possible.
