• An Irish dairy goat can produce up to four litres of milk per day. That’s four times as much milk as a local cow produces. This allows a family to enjoy a daily supply of milk in their diet and to earn money from the sale of extra milk.
• Goats’ milk has long been used by people with skin problems and with respiratory problems.
• After having had its first kid, it is very common for a goat to have twins or even triplets thereafter.
