All Souls Appeal
The past few months have brought a series of emotions with them. It’s been a hard few months. And all the more difficult if you have experienced the passing of a friend or loved one and they haven’t been given the send-off you would have wished for them.
People who have held, and continue to hold, a special place in your heart even though they no longer here.
It might be thirty days or thirty years - the pain of grief is still the same.
Precious people are lost to us and we want to find ways to honour their memory. To keep them with us as we continue our journey through life. Because life is always that bit different without them in it.
As we approach the month of November, the month of the Holy Souls, we stop to remember all those who have passed. This year, Bóthar will hold it’s annual mass on November 2nd in St. John’s Cathedral, Limerick.
We currently have families who are in the middle of the Bóthar training programme, waiting to find out when they will receive their Irish dairy cow. Unfortunately the effects of Covid-19 mean that we have many more families that need our help now more than ever.
An Irish dairy cow from Bóthar will be life-changing for a family. It gives a hand-up, not a hand-out and means that a family can lift themselves out of poverty.
This is where you can honour the memory of your loved one to help a family who are in dire need of it.
